The firm, which has offices in London, Rugby, Bicester and Banbury has engaged Lauren Sole as a Legal Administration Apprentice in the Litigation department of its Banbury office.
Lauren will study for the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Legal Administration while working on commercial debt and asset recovery and property management service charge and ground rent arrears cases involving client review meetings.
ILEX Tutorial College will deliver the training on the nature and sources of English law and how the legal system works.
Dean Spencer, Head of Litigation Alliance at Brethertons, who will be Lauren’s supervisor, said: “I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive so I know the benefit of studying law while working in a legal environment: context is everything. Lauren will gain real, first-hand experience of the inner workings of a busy law firm. We are thrilled to be taking part in this innovative new scheme and wish all apprentices success in their future careers.”
The firm has taken apprentices before but Lauren is their first legal apprentice.
