London Law Fair 2013 Announced

The London Law Fair Consortium, comprising CILEx, CILEx Law School, the University of East London, London South Bank University, London Metropolitan University and Kingston University, has announced a legal careers and recruitment fair in London from 12pm to 4pm on 27 November 2013. The event is being sponsored by Lawyer2B and LawCareers.Net.

Hosted in the impressive surroundings of the Business Design Centre, this is London’s only ‘open access’ law fair which gives legal employers an opportunity to meet a range of talented undergraduates and graduates from any of London’s universities. The theme of the event is ‘Promoting Access to a Diverse Legal Profession’.

Noel Inge, Managing Director of CILEx Law School said: “This event is designed to match talented individuals with progressive employers who want the best recruits, irrespective of their backgrounds.”

Jackie Trench, Graduate Recruitment Specialist, Clifford Chance LLP added: “At Clifford Chance we are looking to recruit the most talented graduates from the most diverse backgrounds. Our future trainees will come from an incredibly wide variety of degree disciplines and academic institutions. Having a law fair which is open to all allows us to engage with students that are keen to find out more about Clifford Chance and the opportunities available to them.”

Fiona Fairweather, Dean of School at University of East London remarked: “By working with the CILEx Group, London South Bank, London Metropolitan, and Kingston Universities, we can showcase our talented students by bringing them and employers to one venue. We’re expecting this to be a great success and the event demonstrates the Consortium’s commitment to providing opportunity for all in the fiercely competitive legal services sector.”
