Global Tier 1 reinsurer SCOR has recruited two apprentices who will start their Advanced Apprenticeships in Legal Services this summer. The apprentices will work under the group’s Property and Casualty arm which operates in 160 countries, working with over 1,600 insurers. These will be the group’s first legal apprentices.
The apprentices will be working for the Paris-London Hub Claims and Legal teams. Both of them will be based in SCOR’s London office, close to Lloyd’s.
Malcolm Newman, CEO of the Paris-London Hub, said: “We are happy to welcome two apprentices into what will be rewarding roles, reporting directly to their respective Chief Counsels within our Paris-London teams. We have high hopes for these apprentices and the training provided by CILEx Law School.”
Jenny Pelling, Director of Business and Apprenticeships at CILEx Law School, said: “We are looking forward to supporting SCOR in the implementation of their apprenticeship programme. The apprentices will benefit from exposure to a truly global company during their apprenticeships with SCOR, as well as comprehensive legal and skills training provided by CILEx Law School.”
