CILEx Law School is recruiting for two senior academic posts – Deputy Academic Manager and legal studies operations manager – both based in Kempston, Bedford.
The Deputy Academic Manager’s role is to be part of the team involved in developing materials and providing academic support for distance learning students across our diverse range of law and practice courses. The role will be learner focused, involving the monitoring of student progress and feedback, as well as managing marking and revision tutor performance. Whilst most student support is provided by telephone and email, the post will involve occasional face to face teaching/web-conferencing.
The Legal Studies Operations Manager is a new role which has arisen due to the expansion of our delivery of in-house programmes and apprenticeships into client organisations. Reporting to the Business Director, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring consistency in the delivery of in-house programmes and have management responsibility for the teaching and assessing aspect of the business team’s work.
